Cronosurf Wave is a chronograph watch app designed for Android devices and Wear OS. It is not currently supported on other operating systems such as Tizen, Garmin, or HarmonyOS. The app is based on the original design that started in 2014 as a web-based technology demonstrator. Its main focus is on design, functionality, and usability. The app includes a comprehensive user manual and a Button Assistant that labels each button according to the momentary state of the watch to help users quickly get familiarized with the basics.

Cronosurf Wave has many features, including a 12-hour stopwatch/chronometer with 1/20 seconds resolution, a 12-hour countdown-timer with optional automatic repetition, and a daily/once alarm with optional gradual volume. It also has customizable presets for both alarm and countdown timer, world time with 15 minutes steps, and an innovative 100-year calendar. Other features include an indication of moon phases, a compass (when supported by the device), and a torch function. The app also has day/night modes, a tachymeter in stopwatch mode (experimental), and support for Moto 360 and other 'flat tire' displays.

The PRO version of Cronosurf Wave is also available and offers additional features such as ad-free usage, 5 customizable color presets, and quick stopwatch with one button press from time mode. It also has a split function for the stopwatch, flyback chronograph function, and thousandths of a second for stopwatch (experimental). The app also has a reference pointer for the compass, weather information for a user-defined location, and landscape mode support. For the Live Wallpaper, any image from the gallery can be set as a background image.

Cronosurf Wave has permissions to run at startup for reactivating a pending alarm or countdown timer and to prevent the device from sleeping while an alarm is being played so that the user can see the watch and stop the alarm. The app is ad-based, with only a small banner and no fullscreen ads.
